Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
From time to time, this website may include links to other websites for your convenience. These links do not signify that Kajol’s Beauty endorses those websites, and Kajol’s Beauty accepts no responsibility for their content.
Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once the required booking fee has been received.
A non-refundable booking fee of at least £100 is required to secure your date. This booking fee is deducted from your final balance.
Your date is not held until the booking fee has been paid in full.
When making a booking, you must inform Kajol’s Beauty of any relevant skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or medical concerns that may affect the service. If you are unsure, you should seek advice from a medical professional before booking.
Payments
The remaining balance must be paid as agreed at the time of booking.
If payment is being made by bank transfer, cleared funds must be received no later than 24 hours before the booking date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment is being made in cash on the day, the correct amount must be ready before the appointment begins.
Failure to make payment on time may result in cancellation of the booking.
Booking Fee, Cancellations & Rescheduling
All booking fees are strictly non-refundable in the event of client cancellation.
Booking fees are also non-transferable to other dates or services.
If you need to reschedule, Kajol’s Beauty will do its best to accommodate the new date, subject to availability. A new booking fee may be required to secure the revised date.
Any change of date may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking. Where a date change is accepted at Kajol’s Beauty’s discretion, an administration fee may apply.
If a client cancels a booking after paying the booking fee, the booking fee will not be refunded.
If a service is cancelled part-way through or after it has started, no refund will be given.
Cancellation by Kajol’s Beauty
In the rare and unlikely event that Kajol’s Beauty is unable to attend a confirmed booking, any booking fee paid will be refunded in full.
Where possible, Kajol’s Beauty may recommend an alternative experienced makeup artist, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Refund Policy
Refunds are not available once the full service has been delivered.
Kajol’s Beauty will make every reasonable effort to ensure you are happy with the service before the appointment is completed, and you are encouraged to request any adjustments during the appointment itself.
Refunds are not available for issues arising after the service has been completed where no concern was raised during the appointment.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking and before the appointment.
You must inform Kajol’s Beauty in advance of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, watery eyes, eczema, acne, vitiligo, severe dryness, oily skin, or any other issue that may affect product use or application.
Kajol’s Beauty cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or reaction caused by the client’s failure to disclose relevant information before the appointment.
You must ensure that your outfit, jewellery, accessories, and any other items needed for your event are prepared in advance and kept in the same room where you are getting ready where possible.
You must also ensure that tags are removed from clothing and accessories before the service is completed.
If you wear contact lenses, you should insert them either before or after the makeup appointment, depending on what is most comfortable for you.
If you wear a nose ring or bridal nose jewellery, it should be pre-tested and easy to insert or remove.
You must communicate any hair colour details, hairstyle preferences, makeup preferences, and special requirements as early as possible.
Travel, Parking & Congestion Charges
Kajol’s Beauty provides mobile services and travels directly to the client’s location.
The client is responsible for arranging suitable parking for the artist.
If a visitor permit is required, it must be arranged in advance and provided before the appointment.
Any parking charges, tolls, congestion charges, or similar travel-related costs incurred in attending the booking must be paid by the client.
Failure to arrange suitable parking or access may result in delays, and such delays will be treated as client-caused lateness where applicable.
For bookings outside of the United Kingdom, the client is responsible for the cost of flights, transfers, and accommodation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Kajol’s Beauty is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen travel circumstances including accidents, road closures, traffic congestion, or other events beyond reasonable control. If Kajol’s Beauty is delayed, every effort will be made to provide the full agreed service time where possible.
Lateness Policy
Clients must be ready at the agreed start time of the appointment.
If a client arrives late or is not ready to begin at the agreed time, the appointment may need to be shortened to avoid affecting other bookings.
The full service fee remains payable even if the appointment is shortened due to client lateness.
If Kajol is kept waiting because the client is not ready, an additional waiting charge may apply. Any such charge will be communicated to the client.
If Kajol’s Beauty is running late, this will be communicated as early as possible, and every effort will be made to ensure that the client receives the full agreed service time. Where this is not possible and time is genuinely lost due to Kajol’s Beauty, an appropriate adjustment may be made at Kajol’s Beauty’s discretion.
Appointment Preparation & Etiquette
The makeup artist may arrive up to 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for setup.
The client must provide a clean, calm, safe, and suitable working environment with adequate lighting and minimal interruptions.
Please ensure that mobile phone use is kept to a minimum during the appointment.
Interruptions caused by tending to deliveries, children, pets, work, or other distractions during the appointment may reduce the available service time.
No smoking is permitted during the appointment.
Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
For hygiene reasons, no one other than Kajol may handle or touch the makeup products or tools.
Photographers, videographers, and other third parties should ideally enter only once the client is fully ready, unless otherwise agreed.
Skin Reactions, Allergies & Product Use
All products used by Kajol’s Beauty are professional-grade and selected with care.
However, Kajol’s Beauty cannot guarantee that a client will not experience a reaction to a product.
It is the client’s responsibility to notify Kajol’s Beauty in advance of any known allergies, sensitivities, or concerns.
Refunds will not be given for allergic reactions or skin sensitivities where the client has not disclosed relevant information in advance.
Kajol’s Beauty reserves the right to refuse to use any product or to refuse service where health, hygiene, or safety concerns arise.
Photography, Video & Social Media
Kajol’s Beauty may take photographs or videos of the process and finished look for portfolio, website, and social media purposes.
No images or videos will be posted without the client’s express consent.
If you do not wish for your images or videos to be used, you must inform Kajol’s Beauty before the appointment.
Your privacy will always be respected.
Service Results & External Factors
Kajol’s Beauty will not be responsible or liable for any damage to, or reduction in the longevity or appearance of, the makeup or hair caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
This includes, but is not limited to, poor weather conditions, perspiration, tears, touching the face, interference by third parties, pressure from family members, or changes made after the service has been completed.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, you must inform Kajol’s Beauty during the appointment and before the service is completed.
Kajol’s Beauty will make every reasonable effort to resolve any concern at that time.
Complaints raised only after the appointment has ended may limit the ability to investigate or resolve the issue.
Training Courses, Photoshoots & Student Work
Where training courses, photoshoots, or student portfolio sessions are provided, Kajol’s Beauty reserves the right to use photographs and videos created during those sessions for website, portfolio, advertising, and social media purposes.
Where student work is displayed, Kajol’s Beauty will make it clear that the work shown is that of the student where appropriate.
Course content may not always be taught in the exact order listed on course pages, but all listed course content will be covered.
Confidentiality & Data Protection
Kajol’s Beauty will treat your personal information as confidential and will take reasonable steps to keep it secure.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or where necessary for the performance of the booking.
Kajol’s Beauty will process personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.

Clients are responsible for the safety and security of their own personal belongings at all times.
Kajol’s Beauty accepts no responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal items at the appointment location.
Health & Safety
Kajol’s Beauty aims to maintain safe and hygienic working practices at all times.
Tools, brushes, and equipment are cleaned and sanitised appropriately, and reasonable care is taken to maintain a safe working environment.
Where training is provided, Kajol’s Beauty also seeks to maintain safe working conditions in accordance with relevant health and safety standards.
